Is that a statement or a question???

So here’s the thing: it doesn’t matter if you put a ? after something or add an inflection to your tone - if you have a preconceived answer and aren’t open to something else - it’s NOT a question you’re asking - it’s a statement you’re making. .
This communication struggle is real and rampant and often it creates an emotional divide between speaker and listener, where they may not have been one previously.... and that’s because it’s condescending. .
Sundays are days I reflect a lot on my communications, and today I urge you to pay attention and see if you notice people (and especially yourself) confusing these two things. Both as speaker and as listener. .
